Options expiry week and good earnings from major US companies(IBM, INTC, GOOG, CAT, KO etc) drives the market up.
Major earnings next week include Merck(MRK), Texas Instruments(TXN), AT&T(T), Broadcom(BRCM), McDonalds(MCD), Yahoo(YHOO), Amazon(AMZN), Apple(AAPL), 3M(MMM) and American Express(AXP).

Can these charts be made bigger? Generally, I can barely read the axes’ labels.

Agree . . but that is what WordPress 2.5 has today. Am asking developers to allow more resolution or another way to show chart. Maybe a link for more detailed chart . . . work in progress.
